About Us
Dr. Jennifer Claman, MD.
I am a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with over 30 years of hands-on patient care experience. Throughout my career, I have performed more than 2,500 obstetrical deliveries, 3,000 gynecological surgeries, and over 10,000 patient encounters. In 2012, I led the effort to certify my medical center as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery and was an early member of The American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery.
In 2024, I served as a mentor for the Georgia Tech Biomedical Engineering Capstone Project, where one of my early prototypes was featured at the Georgia Tech Capstone Expo. Early in my career, I was recognized for my innate surgical skill and became a lead gynecological surgeon for one of the largest health maintenance organizations in the country. During this time, I also co-chaired the committee responsible for the selection and implementation of new surgical products.
My passion for improving women’s healthcare has always driven me to push biomedical companies to innovate. Through this work, I helped stimulate the development of several new technologies. However, I often found that large biotech and pharmaceutical companies were disconnected from both the real patient experience and the practical needs of providers.
To address this gap, I founded Gynovent—an innovation-driven space dedicated to advancing female health and wellness, grounded in a deep understanding of both patient experience and clinical practice. I also hold the trademark for HOMEOBIOTICS, a category of products designed to restore or maintain the body’s homeostasis through topical or internal applications, as well as several patents for innovative gynecological devices.
Andi Claman, Technology and Strategy Advisor
With over three years of experience in technology consulting at Accenture, I’ve supported complex, cross-functional initiatives, working with teams to improve processes, implement new technologies, and communicate effectively across stakeholders. This background informs my practical, systems-based approach to problem solving, grounded in clarity and real-world execution.
Alongside my consulting work, I’ve spent over two years teaching yoga. I have a strong interest in physical and mental health, which I’ve brought into my consulting work by focusing on public health and public sector initiatives. I believe more innovation in women’s health is long overdue and am motivated to contribute to solutions that can meaningfully improve women’s lives.
I hold a BA in Media Studies and a BS in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
